Dear Friends –
I have been fortunate to live in our foothills for the past 25 years and I care deeply about this district - I can think of no better place to live and raise a family. The beauty of HD 25 is suburban, rural and semi-rural in nature – our needs are like none other. We strive to be diligent in our protection of our Colorado outdoor way of life and smart in the use of our resources.
I support high quality in our educational system, smart investments of our finite resources, job creation, economic development in the foothills and limited government. We are facing energy costs that require an environmentally sensitive and common sense approach to managing Colorado’s many energy opportunities. We are blessed with solar, wind and mineral resources that can help provide for our needs while protecting our environment. If elected as your Representative, I intend to carry your concerns and values to the State Capitol.
As a mother and a small business owner, my dream has been the same as most Americans; I wanted to earn a living, provide for my family, worship in peace and be free to live without big government looking over my shoulder. I’ve helped grow a business, create jobs and develop a community. I’ve signed the front side of a pay check – not just the back.
In the last few years I’ve witnessed a change; Colorado has become less friendly to business and families - and I decided I want to do something about it.
I believe in:
- A common sense and environmentally sensitive approach to energy needs
- Restoring fiscal responsibilities
- Protecting our borders
- Keeping Colorado friendly to businesses and job growth
- Giving our kids the tools to succeed in a global economy
- Keeping taxes and fees in check
